The island of Java is home to multiple volcanoes surround by densely forested mountains, wild coffee, gardens and a tropical climate. This coffee comes from the region of Parahyangan, where coffees are traditionally processed using the semi-washed (wet-hulled) method. Historically, we source washed coffees from the East side of the island of Java. However, this coffee mirrors the semi-washed (wet-hulled) process from neighboring islands Sumatra and Sulawesi to unlock previously hidden layers of flavor and complexity. The art design uses layers of volcanic soil to symbolize these layers of complex flavors.
